This is a relatively new form of massage developed for stressful working environments.
Based on a traditional form of Japanese massage called "Anma", it was introduced from China possibly 3000 years ago. Acupressure points throughout the body are stimulated with fingers and elbow pressure to balance the flow of energy in the meridian channels.
A thorough treatment would take 20 minutes and takes place seated in a comfortable, ergonomic chair. No oils are used and the client remains fully clothed. The massage concentrates on the head, neck, shoulders, arms, hands and back, but can also include the legs.
Treatment times
Treatment times can vary from 10,15, 20, and 30 minutes, 20 minutes is recommended for the work place environment.
